i) The sustained energy trends capture and analysis to be translated into technology masterplans and advising upwards, to include: I) OPB (Oil Palm Biomass) conversion into carbon-zero Hydrogen-enriched gas blends, ii) Conceptual and FEED of moderate size production facility of Biomass-derived H2-rich gas blends as motor fuels; iii) R&TD on moderate scale methanol plant for monetizing offshore flare Associated Gas; iv) Liaising on legal & compliance issues with authorities, investors and external R&TD bodies domestically and internationally. Achievements: i) In partnership with IBC Asia, Singapore conducted series of international techno-economical conferences and workshops on floating gas liquefaction plant; ii) Facilitated FID on Petronas FLNG Satu presently being operated offshore Sabah, Malaysia; iii) Feasibility Study accomplished on the rail transport and maritime operations of floating crafts powered by onboard-generated green Hydrogen.

- Supervision of “green” energy and gas chemical projects; - Advising the UTP/PETRONAS top management on the technology of stranded gas monetization; - Foundation the CAL (Centralized Analytical Lab) for running the projects in the fields of environmental pollution and public health hazards, renewable energy, material science, chemical engineering: tendering, procurement of equipment; development of the lab organizational structure and documentation (personnel KPIs, SOPs, guidelines, GLP issues, etc.) in accordance with international standards. Budgeting, administration expenditures, preparation reports, correspondence on legislation issues; planning and execution of lab accreditation; staffing, directing and training lab personnel - Rectifying the bottlenecks at PETRONAS’ petrochemical plants and delivery analytical services; - Coordination of R&TD projects with PETRONAS petrochemical plants and other industrial units; - Debottlenecking the technology issues of reforming gas reforming; - Study the mechanisms of heterogeneous catalyst aging in the course of methanol synthesis from Syngas at Petronas methanol plant; - Development and delivery of the courses: Physicochemical Methods in Technology (process control, R&TD, gas thermochemistry, environmental hazards monitoring); Fundamentals of Organic Chemistry for Engineers; Applied Chemical Thermodynamics; Industrial Reaction Kinetics and Catalysis; - Setting up the Dept. Fundamental & Applied Sciences; - Supervision of chemical engineering graduates’ R&TD projects; - Delivery of certification courses in HSEQ for Petronas’ staff; - International certification courses on the cost-saving projects of environment conservation.
